More time is spent in data validation than any other step in the entire close process. How much of this time is truly value-add and how much could better be spent doing almost anything else? Whether we’re reconciling accounts using traditional Oracle PM tools, Excel, Blackline, or the power of humans, our time is literally going towards seeing if this number equals that number.
