The Challenge
A premium body care brand, renowned for its high-quality products, faced operational inefficiencies as it scaled its eCommerce business. Manual processes for order management, inventory tracking, and coordination with global third-party logistics (3PL) providers had become increasingly cumbersome. The Solution
To address these challenges, a two-phase solution was implemented. First, MuleSoft was introduced to replace their legacy integration platform to automate integrations between Shopify, NetSuite, and other platforms. Second, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) was deployed to overcome fulfillment limitations by automating daily settlement report uploads, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the ERP system. The company utilized MuleSoft RPA to upload the daily settlement report to Azure Storage, which is also consumed by Databricks. Additionally, 3PL integrations were streamlined to provide real-time inventory management across a global logistics network, ensuring smooth operations between warehouses in the United States, the U.K., and France.
