In his keynote address at Oracle CloudWorld 2024, Larry Ellison, Oracle's co-founder and CTO, discussed how AI and automation will change industries and the company's vision for the future of cloud computing. Here are the main points he touched on:
- Oracle technology offerings, the value they provide, and how they deliver it.
- The end of passwords, with the use of biometric data for secure identification.
- How the use of AI and automation — for instance, the “robot DBAs” in Oracle’s autonomous databases — prevent human errors and increase security.
- The complexities of network security and the tools to provide it — for instance, Oracle's Zero Trust Pack Routing (ZPR) that uses AI to inspect network configurations, allowing businesses to focus on performance while ensuring security.
2. Oracle CEO Safra Catz highlights how global companies drive long-term success with the cloud and AI
